As an Italian restaurant we offer a large selection of pizza, spaghetti and others specialty like our traditional focaccia bread with imported Parma ham.
Proudly known today as a Pizzeria and Ristorante Italiano, the ‘Capannina' was established in 1998 as a tiny kitchen for providing a pasta and pizza delivery service in Kata area. It soon became very popular thanks to the fine Italian food recipes from our Italian chef and owner and his ability to bring to the table the real flavor and taste of Italian cuisine.
After a few years of hard work, la Cappannina moved to a new location closer to the center of Kata. This time with the addition of a little dining room and a larger selection of delicious Italian pasta, pizzas and great espresso coffee that brought even more popularity to the still very small "Italian restaurant".
With a growing reputation that had customers constantly coming back for more, in 2003 Pizza Capannina was forced to move location again due to lack of space. Now located in the Kata beach center area, 'la Capannina‘ offers you a large space to come with friends, family and children, to enjoy Italian specialties and a final Italian touch, traditional Italian gelato in many different flavors.
Through growing ever more popular over the years, it has now become a meeting place for the Italian community living in Phuket, travelers, business people from all over the world and local people. Finally it can be said that ‘Capannina' has succeeded in literally bringing a piece of Italy to Phuket.
